Problems with Access 97 using XP Phone Dialer

Recently my users have migrated from WinNT to WinXP. After doing this
they began having problems with the XP phone dialer and Access 97.
The Access application they are using opens the phone dialer and
passes the phone number to it (format of number is 9,12223456789) via
the "utility.wlib_AutoDial" method. This worked perfectly with WinNT.
Now whenever Access opens the dialer it seems to set the default to
"Internet Call" rather than "Phone Call" even if the default within
the phone dialer itself is set to "Phone Call". I need to know if it
is possible to pass a parameter value to the phone dialer so it will
use "Phone Call" or if the default setting needs to be set some other
way. I was able to just open the phone dialer and manually type in
the number and it worked with no problems since I was able to choose
"Phone Call". Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've searched
everywhere for an answer.

Thanks!

I figured this out myself. All that I needed to do was to remove the
comma from my phone number format.
For example...change 9, 1234567890 to 9 1234567890 and it works like a
champ. It seems that with the new XP dialer it doesn't interpret the
comma as a pause anymore. I guess when it sees the comma it
automatically thinks it is an internet call rather than a phone call.
So...just take out the comma and it works great!
