I bought this computer in August and already I have had
multiple problems. First of all my screen has turned
sideways but now I have a new problem. Every 10 seconds
or so my computer will start highliting things I don't
want it to highlite and start bringing up new windows I
never asked for it to bring up. It is like every 10
seconds the CTRL key button is held in (without me
toughing it) and then if I click with the mouse it
highlites things instead of just selecting them. I think
that is why things keep popping up as I type also. Can
anyone help me??

i'd say if its a laptop make sure you are not hitting the
control key as the keys are all pretty close. i've
experienced that prob before. if its a desktop try to
get another keyboard into the system, any will do but a
ps2 ported keyboard would probably work better. if you
dont have any problems with that it's probably a shorted
keyboard or a key stuck. i'd also check your monitor
connections & keyboard connections to the computer to
ensure they are pressed in all the way & tightened down
if necessary. with the monitor problem you should be
able to adjust the monitor settings with the menu
interface on the monitor. hope that helps....

Sounds like you need a new keyboard, the CTRL key being held down will cause
the type of errors that you are seeing.

The problem does not happen all the time though. It will
occur for 5 seconds, then won't for 15 seconds, then will
for 5 seconds, and so on.
