Problems when downloading large files

When I finish downloading a large file, it opens up a new "window" showing
its saving status as it saves onto my computer. On this window is a "cancel"
button. Whenever I'm doing work and typing up a word document etc, when this
"saving window" comes up, because I'm typing, it automatically hits the
"cancel" button in the saving window and cancels the download. What I'm left
is the download window saying its incomplete with 1 second left of download.
This has happened many times with large files having to be redownloaded over
again. Is there any way to retrieve this file without having to redownload?
Note that I am downloading from rapidshare so there is no way to redownload
without waiting 200 or so minutes and there is no direct link to download the
file.

Thanks

The file should be in your TIF folder. The dialog box you are seeing is the
file being copied from there to the folder you specified. Check the TIF
folder for your user account, and the file you downloaded should be there.
Use My Computer or Windows Explorer and navigate to:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files
