Problems downloading large files

I'm having trouble downloading really large movie files. Is there a plug-in
or something that will save what I've downloaded so that when I restart a
download it doesn't have to start back at the very beginning. I've tried
GetRight but it has problems with downloads that start with a .asp file.

Define 'trouble'? Is your IE cache set to be a larger size than the movie
you are trying to download? For that matter, are the downloads legal? ;o)

The downloads are legal because I'm a paid member of the site but before the
download finishes my connection times-out or the download crashes. I have a
slow dial-up connection so it takes hours to download. I want to be able to
resume downloading from the point the download crashed rather than start back
at the very beginning each time.

I'd give Opera a go; that's what I use when I need to download something
very large - I don't like download managers like GetRight.

OTOH (just to be contrary<g>) I like GetRight!.

Wonderful little app that does what it says it does (99.9% of the time,
anyhow) in XP and in Win9x systems - I couldn't live without it!
(My record was an 18hour download on dialup<g>)
