Problems w/Windows Installer

I have tried to unregister/re-register Windows Installer. After typing in
"msiexec/unregister" without the quotation marks, I receive a message stating
the msi program cannot be located. Any suggestions? I've been battling this
for about a week now.

After your suggestion, yes. A couple of things, when trying to run the
cleanup utility, there was a lengthy message and you may recognize it:
"ActiveX component can't creat object: Scripting file system object.
