Hi, Nikki. I noticed that in your reply to DL, you stopped "shouting."
Thank you.
My responses follow and are "in-line":
I AM HAVING PROBLEMS DOWNLOADING FILES- I HIT DOWNLOAD IT GOES
THROUGH TIL ITS DONE THEN SAYS SAVE /OPEN IF I HIT SAVE IT DOES BUT
WHEN I FIND FILE IT WONT OPEN IT SAYS (PDF FORMAT??) OPEN OR SAVE IT
POPS OUT LIKE IT IS GOING TO OPEN THEN CLOSES RIGHT AWAY BACK TO THE
OPEN OR SAVE BOX? ANY IDEA WHY IT WONT LET ME OPEN FILES?
It is very hard to make out what you are trying to say. Here's my guess:
You are successfully downloading PDF (Portable Document File) files, but
you lack the proper application to view them. For more information on
the PDF format, please read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Document_Format
Simply speaking, a PDF file will look the same on all computers (unlike
Word or HTML files). But you need a program to view them. Adobe is the
standard. You can go to
http://www.adobe.com and click on the button
that says "Get Adobe Reader." Personally, I recommend another program
that uses far less resources: Foxit Reader, which can be downloaded from
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/ . Just click on the link that says "Foxit
Reader 2.0 for Windows."
I DOWNLOADED A PROGRAM TODAY AND IT WORKS FINE BUT WIL NOT OPEN FILES!
What was the name of the program you downloaded?
Also, a friendly suggestion: Using proper punctuation and grammar will
guarantee better responses because far more people will be able to
understand you. Please also see "Goodpost" at:
