Hello every body,

So i'm coming here to find a solution. Well I would like to import my *.dbx
files from OE to WMail in my vista. I have found the way via : Import ->
Messages -> OE6 -> Specific Folder ->...

My problem is that when i'm choosing the folder with my all *.dbx files it
doesn't show them ! Like they were "invisible" I have activated the option
in my Explorer "View invisible files (sorry don't know the exact term in
english) and it show me as well the files but in that specific Windows of
WMail, it doesn't show them and when i click to see choose "Folder options
and search" like my Explorer, i can't select it !!!

If some fo you have an idea ???

Regards

If you can see them.. then it won't import... because the path will be
incorrect.
If they are in C:\Temp then just click on Temp, don't try to open it, or
the path will become C:\Temp\Temp and it won't find them...

You need to save the .dbx files to your hard drive, I assume that you
already did that? :)
Right click the folder that contains them and remove the read only
attribute, then import the messages.

Another way is to open the folder and WM side by side, create corresponding
folders in WM and then drag n drop the messages into the newly created
folders, (use edit>select all)

Hi Ronald,

Nope, either the files or the folder.

Finally the solution I found following the idea of "mac" is :

1. Download the software DBXTract and install it (This soft is FREE).
2. Export the .dbx in a specific folder (would be directly create adding a
new folder in WMail and choose his location) the files.
3. close and re-open WMail and all the messages mail will be in the correct
folder !

The bad thing is that you need to recreate manually the folders in your
WMail.

But it works fine otherwise.

Lets say "SOLVED" for this topic. THX to everybody for the support.
