I was having problems with my PC so i decided to reformat it. I had done
this a few times before on this same PC. So i booted up the PC from the OS
recovery disk I got with the PC. I deleted the old OS and formated the now
unused space for windows xp. The pc restarted and then began to install
windows it installed fine untill it got to the 'installing windows' part of
the OS install it began 'installing devices' and it got up to a certain point
then stoped. The computer didn't freeze, but the installation wouldn't go
any further. I tried to restart it several times but it kept stopping at the
same spot, i' dont really know what else to do, any help would be appricated.

I have not changed any hardware, or well...I have not changed anything since
the last time I reformated, its all the same as it was when it was bought.

If you are upgrading the OS you computer might not be able to handle it...
