Problems receiving faxs

Can you advise me why my fax in wins XP sends ok but half way through
receiving a fax it stops and says an error has occurred while receiving
your fax
Do i just have to put in my home phone number for the CSID as thats all
i’ve done

Microsoft Fax (built-in to XP) is very limited. If you are not using the
exact XP drivers for your modem, you will havee problem.
