problems loading cds/dvds

when i used to load a disc it would give me a list of options like what
player i wanted to use to play the disc .this does not happen any more i have
to go into my computer to open it. hope some body can help thanks.

My Computer > right-click on your CD drive > Properties > AutoPlay
 
thanks mike williems for youre help ,you put me in the right direction and i
followed the instructions on screen but still the discs dont load, or when i
plug in my digital camera .both drives are working ok. could it be because i
downloaded limewire hope you can help thanks

Is your CD connected via USB?
