cd /dvd still wont auto play

when i load a disk into my drive it used to give me alist of options like
what i wanted to play disc with i have tried going my computer/ properties
/auto play but it still wont play can you help thanks

After you opened the Properties and AutoPlay and selected your
Action to Perform, did you click the Apply before clicking OK
to set and SAVE settings? Also:

yes tried all of them but not wmp10

yes i have done all you said but for some reason it still wont auto play no
matter what disc i put in dvd,music or picture disc it allways used to give
me a list of options but not anymore what do i try next
