Problems Installing XP

G

Guest

I am doing a full install and the first time it restarts my computer I get to
the following screen.

Now ready to install windows hit

ENTER = Continue
F3 = Exit
R = Repair

The problem is that right before it gets to this screen the lights (# lock
and caps lock) go off and my keyboard does not respond when I get to this
screen.

Any ideas hints or suggestion????

Help PLEASE

Thanks
Todd

Do not hit "any key" when XP's setup reboots the first time.
XP setup will reboot on its own. In other words, ignore the
message to press "any key" to boot from your CD Drive the
first time setup reboots on its own.
