Problem With Windows

Whenever I open the start menu and I click on shut down thw window comes up,
but instead of the stand-by, shut down and restart bubble-icon things, there
is a drop down menu. This also occurs when I hit ctrl-alt-delete, but no
menu, just a bunch of different box-like icons to choose from (like lock
computer, task manager, shut down, and a few more). I would really like to
know how to get it back the way it used to be; when I hit ctrl-alt-delete, I
want the task manager, not a window where i choose it.
Thanks to anyone who knows how to fix my problem!!!!!

Welcome screen is disabled.

To enable it ::
Go to "Control Panel" > Click "User Accounts" [ In classic view] > CLick
"Change the way users log on or off" > Check the option "Use Welcome Screen"

option to cleck on Change the way users log on or off - I don't see that
