Problem with View->Thumbnail

I am using Windows 2000 Professional with SP4, loaded with latest patches
from Microsoft.
I was not able to see thumbnails of images when used the command
View->thumbnail in any folder.
What may be the problem? Please assist.

This is a fairly common problem.
Go to the Microsoft website and search on "thumbnail view".
There you'll find your solution.
