I have a system installed with XP SP2 and the user has a few network
printers. There is one network printer that is not removable because the
original shared printer is already disable and the original system that hosts
the shared printer is also decommisioned. The existing network printer cannot
be deleted and this is the error message. Any help?

Printer connection cannot be removed. Operation could not be completed.

Printer connection cannot be removed. Operation could not be
completed.

Right-click on the printer icon and cancel all documents. It sounds like
there are still documents in the queue. Once you've done that, you
should be able to delete it.

Usually, the "Cancel" option at right click is available when there's a
pending document. But for this case, there's none "Cancel" option. There's no
pending documents.
The status of the network printer is "Printer not found, unable to connect"
because the old host is long decommision and the printer unshared.
When click open at right click, "operation is incomplete" pops up.

It's not possible to restore the old decomission system and sharing setup
because it has been reformatted.

Pls help.
