Problem with Real Player

Steve

Since I installed Real One Player, Windows XP seems to be
continually running in the background, as the egg-timer
icon is always flickering (even when I don't have any
other software running). Someone said that this is a
fault in Real Player. What should I do? Should I
uninstall and then use System Restore to go back to my
previous settings. What is the best way to uninstall
this? Thank you for your time. Best wishes,

Steve

This is dependent on the version of RealPlayer you're using - for instance,
if you're using RealOne Player V2, you have to do this by opening Real
Player, going to Tools\Preferences, and selecting the "Automatic Services"
node.
