Problem with page count

Useing WORD 2003 and I am working on document that has 14 pages.

Page count at bottom of screen stops at 8.

For rest of document just reads 8/8 as I scroll down. Page breaks seem ok.
When I go to print preview last page says 14 of 14.

Are you giving Word time to catch up? Sometimes it takes a while to paginate
the document on first opening (though this should be pretty much
instantaneous in a 14-page document unless your system is incredibly slow).

for a few hours while searching in help).

Are you working in Normal view? If yes, then either change to Print
Layout view or enable background repagination in Tools | Options | General.

Changed from normal view to print view and this seems to have worked.
