Problem with outlook express

I have a problem with outlook express when downloading mail. I got a new adsl
line with login. My internet is working but I cant download my mail. Ive
checked all the settings in my mail account and its fine. Ive contacted my
e-mail service provider and everything is fine on the server. I can ping
other web pages , but I can not ping my e-mail server. Please advise

In Outlook Express, check Tools>Accounts>mail tab
check how it is setup, maybe contact your DSL service
provider to set it properly.
