Problem with OL2003 crashing, works with /safe, but not any /safe:

Randomly Outlook 2003 will crash with an error that says something like
"Outlook has to close", then it reopens.

I've run outlook with the "/safe" option and outlook will run rock solid.
What I've tried is this:

-New .PST file
-"Detect and Repair" on outlook
-Removed all items in the Com Add-ins section of outlook
-Ran outlook with "/safe:1" through "/safe:4", crashed on all 4 instances at
random times, but NOT when running with "/safe".
-scanned for viruses and spyware/adware - clean.

Any ideas of what to try next? What exactly does "/safe" do that "/safe:x"
doesn't? I thought all 4 of the /safe:x options individually add up to the
same as /safe.

Thanks!

This is a fairly good sign that you have an add-in interfering, but it could
also be a faulty outcmd.dat.
-Removed all items in the Com Add-ins section of outlook

How about Add-in Manager?
-Ran outlook with "/safe:1" through "/safe:4", crashed on all 4 instances
at
random times, but NOT when running with "/safe".

See Help. Look for "Command line". The switches are all explained there.
