Problem with internet connection. PLEASe Help

hi,
i have toshiba laptop with 1.7Ghz and 512 Mb RAM and a D-Link ADSL
modem for my internet connectivity.i use windows xp pro and i have the
following problems:

1) If my internet is on for a long time and i am downloading something
through limewire(say 2 hours) then i cannot surf the web anymore, no
sites open....irrespective of wether limewire is downloading or not.

2) if i disconnect from the net(put the modem off) the only way for me
reconnect is by rebooting windows... this is very annoying.

Hello..

Incase you didn't know..
Lime Wire is file sharing..
None of these files when hosted on to the program are properly searched for
Viruses/Spyware or Adware.
What i do suggest you do is run a virus and spyware scan..
And delete any repetitive files that are popping up in your system.
Then get rid of lime wire becuase of this reason.. And because if your
caught with it on your computer you can get fined/prison sentence what ever
is approiate..
And never download file sharing programs!

Then try it out...

If that doesn't help then.. repost again!
