Connection problem, msn, limewire not connecting

hi
since i reinstalled xp on my computer i can not connect to limewire or msn.
i do have servicepack 2 installed.
what i dont understand is that the whole internet is working just not msn or
limewire or other programs that connect like that but sites and everything
work fine


any help is great thank you

Ivan,

Check to see that your firewall is letting the applications through.

Also. Open Limewire | TOOLS | OPTIONS | ADVANCED | FIREWALL CONFIG to make sure
Use UPnP & check the port
