Problem with installing additional Windows Components

After installing XP Pro plus all SP's and updates, I'm trying to install
additional components from my XP-CD. I definetly need atleast IIS to run a
local server and to test my webdesigns.

Anyway, normally this has been a routine task. But now, anytime I start
additional components installation, either from the CD or START-->CONTROL
PANEL-->ADD OR REMOVE -->ADD/REMOVE WINDOWS COMPONENTS, I get an error
message as follows:

"Another copy of this setup is running. Please wait until the other setup is
completed before attempting to run this program again."

I know you get this message if you for instance click ADD/REMOVE WINDOWS
COMPONENTS two times in the row, beacause first click already started the
program. That's not my case

Any Help available?

Go to start/run, and type:

rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL appwiz.cpl,,2

If this does Not open the components area, I would try repairing system
files.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
