Problem with installation of XP on new 250 GB disk.

Hello.

I have bought new disk Seagate 250 GB ATA100 to my PC. Actually I use
160 GB SATA disk connected to Asus A7N8X Deluxe serial ata controler. I
would like to use only the new one disk so the problem is that I can
not install XP on new disk. I have partitioned new disk under XP (16GB
for new C:). The XP-Instalator (integrated with SP2) started from CD
sees the 250 GB disk properly and after copy procedure and rebooting
PC, system starts only from CD and the procedure of installation starts
from begining.
Any ideas?

You have to go into Bios and set the ATA100 drive as the Boot hard drive. It
is probably set to your Sata Drive.

Well I think it isn't so simple. I have set only HDD-0 as my primary
boot. I have disable my sata controler also.

I have found solution.
I have to manually setup LARGE mode for my drive and install XP again.
