Problem with e-mail in outlook

After bringing up my e-mails today, opening one, reading
it and then exiting the message, the message was deleted
from the screen. This continued to happen with each new e-
mail I opened. I checked the deleted file but the messsage
(s) don't appear there. At the bottom of the screen(left
hand corner) it reads, 22 messages, 7 unread. The 7
unread appear on the screen, but the other 15 are nowhere
to be found. Anybody have any ideas on how to retrieve
them and what needs to be done to fix this biarre
problem?? Thanks much for the help.

A good starting point would be to post your message
in an Outlook or MS Office newsgroup.

If you're referring to Outlook Express, do this:

In OE menu, click on View > Current View > Show All Messages.
