problem with driver for cd-rom

im having a probem with ma toshiba dvd-rom sd-r2412 for some reason it
stopped working then when i went into devise status it states "the
configuration information( in the registry) is incomplete or damaged (code
19) i have tryed installing updated drivers but still wont fix the problem
does any one know of this and has an answer to this please help

UNINSTALL it from Device Manager. Reinstall it without first rebooting, then
reboot. Does that fix the problem?
