Ok my two cd rom drives no longer work for some reason.

Heres what Ive tried.

control pan/system/hardware/device manager

This shows all my dvd/cdrom drives have little yellow exclamations on them.
Pioneer dvd-rom dvd 116
Pioneer dvdrw dvr 110D
SCSIVAX dvd/cdrom SCSI CDRom Device

Ive gone through and uninstalled them then reinstall IN windows and add new
hardware finds them but it says there are problems and they wont work
correctly.
Ive also turned cp off, disconnected cd drives, reloaded xp, turn cp off,
reconnect cd drives, turned cp back on, but I still have the problem.

When I Rclick on each of these (in device manager) it comes up with..

Pioneer dvdrom dvd 116
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration
information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

Pioneer dvdrwdvr 110D
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration
information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

SCSIVAX
Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot
find the hardware device. (Code 41)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

I ran troubleshoot and it told me to go to windows update. I did this and
downloaded everything that was available to me, but nothing has worked.

Could anyone please suggest something that might help?

Many thanks!!
