Sarah

When I download files from the net, a box usually
appears, and asks me if I want to save, or open the file.
But, tonight, something happened, and now whenever I try
to download files from the net, it downloads it in my
browser, without a window popping up- and then it takes
me to my temporary internet folder. What can I do to fix
this? I'm wondering if I clicked some option in window's
that's causing this. Please help.

Thanx, Sarah C.

Hi Sarah,

Confirm Download Dialog Box -

1. Open Explorer
2. Click the TOOLS menu
3. Select FOLDER OPTIONS
4. Then select FILE TYPES tab

Locate the file type (extension), click ADVANCED and click EDIT.
Note the "confirm download" box. Check it.

Thank you so much! I looked all over the microsoft site,
and could not find out how to fix this! THANKS! :-D
