problem with definitions

Following problem acure when I download antispywere
definitions, aplication showing installation of new
definitions, but when I restart update function, they shows
old definition installed, and trying to download new
definitions again. After that, aplication again shows new
definitions installed. And so on in a circle. Date of
update is corect.

In addition to Engel's advice--please check whether your program version is
..615. If it is not, update via:

I'm not sure what the minimum intervention is that will fix this--here's a
hierarchy I can imagine trying:

1) get CCleaner and blow away all temporary Internet files (and temp files,
for that matter.)

See whether that fixes it.

2) Try an update install--start, control panel, add or remove programs,
Microsoft Antispyware, change, update.

See whether that fixes it.

3) Try a repair install--start, control panel, add or remove programs,
Microsoft Antispyware. click here for support information, repair.

(I don't have any information to prove whether 3 is, in fact, different from
2--maybe you can prove it?)

See whether that fixes it.

4) uninstall Microsoft Antispyware
delete \program files\microsoft antispyware and all subfolders. You will
lose all customized settings, history, and access to quarantined items.
Reinstall Microsoft Antispyware build 1.0.615

Want to run through that and tell me which one works? If you are going to
come back and tell me that 4 didn't work, I want you to be certain that the
folders in question were really deleted.
