Problem with Auto Updates

For the past five months or so, every time I start an
auto update, I eventually get an error message
stating, "Self-Extracting Cabinet has encountered an
problem and needs to close...." The message appears the
same number of times as the number of patches to
download. I use AOL, so I am wodering if there is a
problem with that or maybe my system. Thanks for the help

Only use IE, not the AOL browser, to access Windows Update, Jay.
