Change your default message format from Rich Text to either Plain Text or
HTML. Rich text is only understood by Outlook; all other email clients will
either get an attachment named "Winmail.Dat" which they cannot open, or they
get no attachment at all:

Hi,

I have this same problem. And I checked my Outloook setting, under
Tools\Options\Mail Format, it's already say "Compose in this message format:
HTML"

Is there any where else I can change the RTF?

Many Thanks,
DTP.

Beside, this issue did not happen all the time. Sometime the OE receipient
still can see the attachement, some time can not. This happened once with my
friend using Yahoo Mail in web format, he could not see any attachment.

If the address in an Internet address, open the record of the contact to
which you sent the message. Double-click the contact's e-mail address.
Examine the "Internet format" drop-down in that dialogue box.

Thanks for response. However, your instruction is not very clear,
could you be more clear with step by step instruction.

I believe I was perfectly clear. What don't you understand?

Thanks, I read again and understand now. Did check the record and the
Internet Format drop down did say: "Send using Outlook Rich Text
Format". So it means there are still some setting not right or
missing???

Change this drop-down to "Let Outlook decide..." and then Outlook will obey
the Tools>Options>Mail FOrmat settings you've chosen.
