problem with all in one center

I cannot get the printer or scanner to work
until today everything was fine. I tried to scan
a picture and a black frame showed up now it will
do nothing. Help!

Not a lot of information to go on here. What is the name of the
manufacturer of the printer/all-in-one unit? What model number? What
changes have you made to the computer over the last week or so? Have you
tried to do a restore? Are you receiving any error messages?
