Problem with ability to load WebPages or Check E-mail

I have been having a problem with my computers ability to
load WebPages or Check my e-mails of late. I do
not remember installing any software or hardware that
would have cause this problem.

It has Windows XP Home Edition, an HP 510n Pavilion,
510mb of ram. I have Windows XP Home Edition, Intel Win
Modem and had the latest modem driver version 8.08 or
something like that.. Then rolled back to 8.27.0.0 to
make sure that the new modem driver wasn't causing the
problem.. Well the problem continued after rolling back
to 8.27.0.0...

The problem that I am having.. Is that after connecting
to the internet.. My Computer will allow only 3 or 4
connections.. Then my computer won't load WebPages or
download e-mails after the 3rd or 4th connection..

Then after the 3rd or 4th connection I have too re-boot..
Everytime... Then it starts all over again.. Connect to
the internet and then my computer won't load WebPages or
download e-mails and I have to reboot again..

Now this is getting frustrating.. Because I check my e-
mails and surf the internet and have to re-boot my
computer as many as 30 odd times a day..

PLEASE HELP>>>

Thank you to anyone that solve this "Riddle" in advance...

You were answered previously, but here are my suggestions: 1) be sure to
scan with current antivirus using updated definitions, remove all
spyware with tools like Spybot S&D and/or Ad-aware, empty temporary and
Temporary Internet Files - so now you know your operating system is
clean. 2) If the problem persists, you probably have a hardware issue
and it's time to start doing hardware diagnosis. If you can't do this
yourself, take the box to a good local computer repair shop (not a
CompUSA or BestBuy store).
