Problem when switching between users

I recently added another user to my computer and also added 2gb of ram.

When switching between user accounts, the one being switched to either
freezes up or gets really really slow..

Now...you have to reboor the machine to get out of the account....and when
you sign back on whichever account you sign in to first..is lightning fast,
when going to the 2nd account, it is slow to non usable.

it always happens on which ever account you switch to 2nd...so either one
can be fast if used first after start up.

Any one have any ideas on what I need to do?
