Problem trying to send zipped files by e-mail.

Hello All,

For many years now I have been happily and successfully e-mailing zipped
archives as attachments using Win 98SE and Outlook Express, but since I have
installed Win XP Pro I find that I can no longer attach a zipped file to an
e-mail.

I have using the following methods to correct the problem, but without
success:

1:
To "switch off" zipped files:
regsvr32 /u%windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll

To "switch on" zipped files:
regsvr32%windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll

2:
A utility that toggles zipped files on and off with a button click.

Neither of these "solutions" worked, so can anyone help me to solve this
problem?

OE, tools menu, Options, Security tab has settings for attachments.

If no help, you could try reinstalling OE. Search for msoe50.inf(The default
location is C:\Windows\Inf folder) Right click the Msoe50.inf file, and
click Install. Insert XP CD when prompted, Browse to the I386 folder, click
Open, then OK.
