problem saving..

I have win 2k. I use microsoft word often to revise papers
for school. The other day i made some changes to a
document, saved it on my hard drive. But when i opened
the document the next day, the changes were never saved.
So i played with it more and made changes to the document
such as putting my name in the middle of the page and
continued trying to save the document. It acts like it
saved the work but when i shut down then open the document
again, guess what, no changes. whats going on? thx

Is that happen any of your word document?
or just one particular this document?
I that happen on Word Document only?
If you save as other format, what happen?

Which version fo word do you use?

Check your word Save options
(Tools > Options> Save)
