problem reinstalling windows

my new motherboard caused me to have to reinstall windows
xp pro. while doing so, the installer crashed just after
installing the graphic card drivers. i did a repair on
the installation, but after it reboots, the screen goes
blank. the hard drive works for a bit, but the screen
stays blank, so i cant configure the windows settings.
reinstalled windows, but same problem.

any help?
