Problem Opening Database

I am not able to open an Access 2000 Database in Access
2002. I keep getting the msg "Cannot resolve this link.
This file may not be a shortcut." I tried to convert the
database from 2000 to 2002 but no dice. Can someon please
help me.

This is a curious error. Have you tried opening the
database up with MS 2K? What is the size of the file you
are trying to open? Right click on the database and look
at the properties. Does is it have an MDB or LNK
extension? Where is the source located? Is it on a network
drive? Local drive? A virtual network device?

If the file is on the network, copy the actual MDB to the
local machine and open it directly.
