problem installing windows componets

hi
i just installed my xp pro with sp2 and i'm now trying to install IIS but
whenever i click add/remove windows components i get a warning window from xp
setup that says: "Another copy of this setup program is running.Please wait
untill the other setup is completed before attempting to run this program
again."
i'm not installing or updating anything, i've tried restarting but it
doesn't help.
any ideas would be apreciated..

I believe that you are trying to get the window to open too quickly. You
need to take it a little bit slower trying to start the process. Try this:
Open control panel, then click on add or remove programs now WAIT until ALL
installed items show up. Once they have ALL populated the window then click
ONCE on the button to ADD/REMOVE windows components. It should work fine.

tried it as slow as i can but i still get the pop-up,
any other ideas?
