Problem installing printer windows 2003 Server

I'm trying to install an HP 4250tn printer to our Windows 2003 Standard
edition server. I am terminal serving into this server. I went through
the wizard to do this. I have created a standard tcp/ip port
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and then go go through the standard steps.. And then at
the very end I get this error

"Either the name was typed incorrectly, or the specified printer has
lost it's connection to the server"

After it erros It shows the printer name in the list, but you can't do
anything with it.. It shows "Printername,0" and if you try it again it
shows "printername,1" and so on. I've tried up to date drivers, but I
already have the latest drivers from HP and the Server has SP1 on it..

I installed it the same way on an old server just to get it running,
but I need to add it to our main printer server.. And I can connect to
the printer through the web jet direct admin page, so I know the
printer is working..

Any help is appreciated..

Well I figured out it was an issue with HP's 4250 driver. It would
error out on creating the que. All I did was use the 4000 driver on
installation of the printer and when it finished I changed the
driver...

Works like a champ.. (Wish I would have thought about this last week)
