Problem in receiving mails

i have this weird problem
outlook always gives me a wrong number while receiving the emails
for example:
it tells me that it's receiving 7 mails while i receive only 3 or 4.
where does the rest of the mails go i donno.
nothing is wrong with the rules, i checked the laptop for viruses and
spywares.

what do u think i should do more ?

It is possible that the other messages are going into a junk email folder.
Another possibility is that you have a rule which is automatically deleting
the email messages.

i already checked the rules as i said before, and nothing in the junk
