I can send e-mails, but cannot receive e-mails in Outlook 2002

I suddenly stopped receiving e-mails(Microsoft Outlook 2002 version), however
I can send them and have been told that people are receiving the messages
from me. When they send me a message however I never receive it. This is
very strange and I have been without incoming mail for two days now and am
going crazy. I have seen the opposite problem posted, but not this one.
Please help.

If it will make you feel better, I have the same problem. No incoming mail
for two days. The email goes to my Yahoo address but does not come to
Outlook. I do not know where to get the answer to our problem. I keep
looking and asking but no one has the answer. Meanwhile, no contact with the
outside workld. Good Luck.

Any errors displayed when you click Send/Receive?

No error messages for two days...then all of sudden I got one it was saying
"error sending and receiving 0x800CCCOD...but that only happened once and now
it is back to NO error message. It does pop up very quickly and is gone in a
snap though.

What type of account are you using? POP, Exchange, IMAP? If POP or IMAP,
can you use webmail and see if the messages are in your Inbox on the server?

It is a POP/SMTP through berbee. Yes I have gone to my webmail server and
signed in successfully...but there is no mail there either. Very strange.
They are working on it, but they seem to be at a loss also.

If the messages aren't on the server, clearly it's not Outlook's doing.

Thanks for your help Brian, Yes I think that we have come to the conclusion
that it is NOT an Outlook problem but something to do with the berbee server.
Now I just wish they could figure out what the problem is...we are in day
three with no email.

I got my email back, they are not sure exactly what happened, but here is the
reply when I asked what caused it, perhaps it can help someone else (like
Ozark Mama): "I don’t have a solid answer for you, but it appears that our
small business web hosting partner made a tweak of some sort on their end to
resolve the issue. It wasn’t anything that you caused, could’ve prevented,
or fixed on your own, and they haven’t given us a solid explanation of what
they did to fix it either. It was likely a reboot of one of their servers."

Thanks for the follow-up.
