mails do not arrive automatically

Last week I configured a new laptop for my boss. With outlook2000 receiving
mails from the exchange server in the USA. Now the problem is that emails do
not arrive automatically. They only come in when I click send/receive or even
when I click on inbox or any other folder, but never automatically. He's also
using a blackberry and mails are arriving ok there.What can be wrong here ?

You need to set a time interval for mail checking. Not sure where that is in
O2k - it's been a long time since I used it!

I also got the same problem. if your computer is running windows XP, here is
my suggestion, please try to disable/close windows firewall, and then the
problem will be solved.
