Why Do my E-mails not render when they arrive? (Outlook 2007)

Trying out the new Office 2007 my E-mails do not show the message or the
image when they arrive in my Inbox. I see a message that states a Rendering
Problem.
This is happening with approximateley 40-50% of all mail

I get the same problem, only I can't read any new incoming mail at all.
The message body isn't visible, but the message size looks OK. My old
messages are fine.

If there's an attachment on the message, I can see it but still no body.

Any ideas anyone?

I found another thread with this problem.
The issue is with anti-virus software scanning incoming messages.

I have AVG and turned off the incoming message certification, but leaving
the scanning turned on of course. New messages now arrive OK, but anything
already received is corrupted.

HAD THE SAME WITH AVG EMAIL SCANNING ON....have reported it to them with no
answer yet....

ALSO

Since I had my email server accounts set to KEEP MESSAGES ON SERVER...I was
able to get all my email again BY DELETING THE ACCOUNTS AND RECREATING THEM,
THEN DOING A SEND/RECEIVE AGAIN. only way I know of without fwd'g everthing.

Thanks for the info msblakey. Too bad I didn't have it before I downloaded
some 80+ emails that are now totally worthless.

I have not found that FWD:ing messages does anything to recover the content
of the messages. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I have just installed 2007 BETA and had the same issue with AVG Free
installed. Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a shot.

Has there been any response from Grisoft since the last post dated late June?

From the AGV forums I found a solution and e-mail will still be scanned.
Open the AVG Controll Center > Select E-Mail Scanner Properties > Click the
Configure Button > Then uncheck the "certify Mail" box in the incoming and
outgoing selections.

From what I understand Outlook 2007 is a different way of doing e-mail that
is different from the standards now in place.
