Printing????????????

Jim

Hi,
I tried to print an email (more fool me) and got a blank page. By default
Outlook in its genius decided to format my emails as HTML in case I wanted
to do the obvious and publish them on the web. Now if I wanted to do
something rediculous like PRINT them then sorry....no, thats too obscure a
request and to be quite honest a little perverse in the extreme. I then
tried to go back to the 80s and using ctrl+c and ctrl+v copy and paste them
into Wordpad or Word.........sorry.....no, HTML you see. Cant do a print
preview either. I went into Tools/Options in Outlook and changed the format
to plain bogstandard, text which it should have been in the first place by
default, asked to have the mail resent but no joy.....still wont print. HOW
DO I PRINT AN EMAIL.

If this is an HTML message you're trying to print, these articles might
apply:

Only the Text at the Top of the Web Page Is Printed

Blank Page Is Printed in Internet Explorer 5.5

The change you made under 'Tools|Options' is for composing new mail.
Depending on your Outlook version, you may have the ability to "Read all
standard mail in plain text" (a checkbox under
'Tools|Options|Preferences|Email Options") which might help.
