You may need to recalibrate the printer for the new
cartridge. Remove the cartridge and reinstall the old one.
restart windows. Then remove old cartridge and reinstall new
one. Select a small document to print and start printing. If
a window prompts you select whether you are using a new
cartridge, select new cartridge radio button and click ok.
An calibration/alignment page will print. Enter the
horizontal line that best matches an "all-straight" line and
click on the arrows until that value appears. Click on ok.
Proceed to print the document you need printed. The print
should be normal darkness.
