Printing problems

I have a desktop pc with hp laserjet printer attached to it. With my laptop,
I am able to use the internet without any problem using the wireless router.
However I am having problems with printing. When the Windows firewall (sp2
pack) are on, I can't print using my laptop. When I turn it off, every thing
works fine. I am able to print, I am able to map drive etc. Can some one help
with this problem?
 
If you mean the firewall on the desktop machine, then this sounds like
normal behaviour.

What you need to to is go into the firewall settings, and on the Exceptions
tab, turn on the File and Print Sharing exception.
