Printing Problem

I cannot seem to print from my laptop. The printer is connected via USB port
directly to my computer. The print jobs are queued in the message box. I
think there's something wrong with the print spooler.
This problem started after i changed the cable to a longer one as I was
re-positioning the furniture in my work area.

Please help

1. Try a different USB port.
2. disconnect the printer.
3 Uninstall the printer driver
4 Reboot
5 Reinstall the printer driver, and then connect the printer when prompted.

In some cases a utility from the printer mfrs web site may be needed to
"cleanup" after the driver removal.
In an extreme case, it may be necessary to uninstall the USB port and
controller drivers. This can be problematic if the keyboard and mouse are
using USB ports.
You should delete the jobs hung up in the spooler before you uninstall the
printer driver.
