Printing pictures in Outlook 2000

Looking for help on a strange problem. A customer of ours
sends and email with a .gif of a spreadsheet inserted into
it. On some machines we can print the email normally and
the spreadsheet will appear. On other machines, it will
just print the placeholder instead of the actual image.
Have looked at all the settings and they appear to be the
same from machine to machine. TIA
