Printing on a local network

I have an Epson 980 C connected to a computer that is
connected through a hub to a firewall to the internet.
The computer is running XP Home. I have a laptop
connected to the hub running win 2000 pro. What do I need
to do to get the printer to print from both computers. I
have tried the add a printer in Control Panel but an
error message comes up "Could not connect to printer. You
either entered a printer name that was incorrect or the
specified printer is no longer connected to the server.

First thing you have to do is get the XP Home PC 'talking' to the
Windows2000 PC and actually able to see its files and folders.

Add the User Name and Password of the XP Home PC as a User Account on the
2000 PC.
