Printing Issues

I just purchased two laptops for my daughters that are running Vista. I have
a Dell that is running XP Professional. When they print a word document or
whatever the printer, HP Photosmart 7200 series, the printer spits out a
blank page between each printed page. With the XP everything is normal. I
need help as I just purchased a new Dell and don't need the "tree huggers"
picketing my house because I am wasting paper.

This looks more like a page set up problem in an application rather than a
Vista problem. Or maybe a Europe ISO vs US format. Do you get the same
effects with Spreadsheets, Graphics (Pictures) and other applications?
Please do some tests to try to isolate the problem and report back with more
details.

I have the EXACT same problem. Same printer - does that with Vista, but not
with XP. I've tried everything I can think of. Doesn't matter what program:
Excel, PDF, Word - you name it.
